Jamee Grigsby is a Local Philadelphia artist. She studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the Hussian School of Art and continues to apply her graphic skills to everything she creates. Jamee is currently working as a Lead Teaching Artist for the Mural Arts Philadelphia and managing private projects. Also recognized by her artist name AdoreJ, She has helped create over 18 murals around the city as well as a few of her own. She continues to help youth advocate their dreams and concerns through different art-making processes while aiming to expand on her work.
Her recent work is a combination of typography & portraiture used to show different perspectives of Identity, culture, and community with messages of solidarity, adoration, and genuineness. She recently has done private commissions, artwork, and murals in collaboration with Walls For Justice, Nation liberty Museum, and Mural Arts Philadelphia, among others.
